Day 1 Arrive Halifax On arrival into Halifax transfer independently to your hotel and spend the rest of the day exploring on your own.

Day 2 Halifax Your day is free to enjoy the sights of Halifax. This East Coast gem of a city is full of character, and colourful personalities. Stroll along the ocean front walking paths, check out the unique maritime architecture and the downtown shops. Continue your exploration with a stop at the Halifax Museum of Natural History. Discover the natural wonders of Nova Scotia all under one roof in the heart of Halifax.

Day 3 Halifax to Montreal (VIA Rail) This morning depart onboard VIA Rail bound for Montreal. Enjoy the landscapes of Nova Scotia and New Brunswick as you travel overnight to Montreal, Quebec. Overnight on VIA Rail. (Lunch and dinner are included today)

Day 4 Morning arrival into Montreal Arrive at Montreal’s Central Station mid mid morning, the rest of the day is free for you to explore the second largest French speaking city in the world. (Breakfast is included today)

Day 5 Montreal City Tour Today, enjoy a complete tour of the city, taking in over 200 points of interest, including a photo stop at the Notre Dame Basilica, St. Joseph’s Oratory, residential and financial districts, Old Montreal, French Quarter, outside view of Olympic Site, McGill University and a panoramic view from an observation point on top of Mt. Royal.

Day 6 Quebec City Sightseeing Tour Quebec City is the heart of French Canada. Nowhere else in North America is the appearance and atmosphere of an old-world city so complete. Quebec City looks and feels very European, and the old section was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1985. Qualified guides will help you discover the enchanting sights which are part of Quebec City’s history. During the tour several stops are suggested. Should you wish to visit different sites, you may want to get off and board at your convenience. This tour option offers you great flexibility.

Day 7 Montreal to Toronto Mid morning transfer independently to Montreal’s Central Station to board your train to Toronto. VIA Rail’s Corridor Service is the quickest way to Toronto and allows you to see some of the countryside and other cites in this area of Canada as you spend 4 hrs relaxing in the comfort of Renaissance Class cars. Arrive at Toronto’s Union Station mid afternoon, the rest of the day is free for you to explore the city. (Lunch is included today)

Day 8 Niagara Falls Day Tour Travel by air-conditioned motorcoach for a breathtaking, full-day tour through the orchard-laden Niagara Peninsula to Niagara Falls, one of the great wonders of the world. Tour includes: Journey Behind the Falls, lunch overlooking Niagara Falls, free time in Niagara-on-the-Lake and a winery tour including a wine tasting.

Day 9 Toronto A check-out from your hotel concludes this memorable rail journey from Atlantic Canada.
