Yellowknife, the capital of the Northwest Territories, is located on the north shore of Great Slave Lake and features spectacular wilderness right on its doorstep. Summer days are long and glorious, with 22 hours of daylight and just two hours of dusk in June and July. If you like fast fishing action, catching fish from 4 to 20 pounds, come to seek out the trophy pike that will provide the challenge of a lifetime. Day 1 Yellowknife Check in to your hotel, then head to the dock for your first day fishing. The dock is within walking distance from the hotel, and remember there is 22 hours of daylight, so a full day fishing can start mid afternoon. Lunch or dinner included out on lake.
